200g of pitted dates 

90g of almond flour

25g of desiccated coconut

6 tbsp. of cocoa powder

2 tbsp. of coconut oil

80g of dark chocolate

1 scoop of chocolate protein powder



  1. In a blender cup add the dates, almond flour, desiccated coconut and cocoa powder and thoroughly blend the mixture for 90 seconds before placing it into a lined 1lb loaf tin or 5-6 inch square baking tray, ensuring the mixture is packed well.

  2. Remove the brownie tray to the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes. 

  3. Prepare the ganache by melting the coconut oil with the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl in the microwave in short bursts and then removing to cool for 2-3 minutes before stirring in the protein powder.

  4. Remove the brownie from the refrigerator before pouring the ganache on top. 

  5. Allow the ganache to cool and harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator before chopping into 6 slices and serving!
