100g dark chocolate

110g of vegan margarine

120ml of maple syrup

3/4 cup of aquafaba

50g & 2 tbsp. cocoa powder

2 tbsp. strong coffee


1. In a heat proof bowl, slowly melt the dark chocolate and butter together in short bursts in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. 

2. Line a 9 x 9 inch square pan with parchment paper,

3. Add the maple syrup and aquafaba before sieving in the cocoa powder.

4. Whisk and combine the ingredients.

5. Add the coffee granules to 2 tbsps. of water before adding to the bowl with the brownie batter.

6. Pour the brownie mixture into the lined square pan evenly displacing the mixture and ensuring it reaches the edges of your pan. 

7. Bake your brownie in the oven for 28-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out completely clean.

8. Dust your brownies with sifted cocoa powder before serving!
