60g of rolled oats

2 tbsp. of peanut butter

150g of pitted dates

20g of desiccated coconut

60g of dark chocolate

1 tsp. of coconut oil

15-20g of chocolate protein powder


1. To a blender cup, add the rolled oats, nut butter, dates and desiccated coconut and pulse blend for several minutes until thoroughly combined.

2. Using two hands, evenly roll small amounts of the mixture into circular balls of about 1-2 inches thick.

3. Refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes or enjoy as they are without the chocolate coating. 

4. To make the chocolate covering, add the dark chocolate and coconut oil to a heatproof bowl and heat in short bursts of 20-30 seconds in the microwave until melted.

5. Leave the chocolate to cool slightly before mixing in the chocolate protein powder.

6. Dunk your protein nut bites into the chocolate and thoroughly coat them before laying them out to cool in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving! Add an optional sprinkle of desiccated coconut on top for some extra nutty flavour!
